Method and evidence

How we test, and what we can prove

The method behind our before-and-after, and an honest account of what we do not have yet.

We measure visibility by asking ChatGPT the questions your customers ask, on recorded dates, and comparing what it says before and after our work. That is the whole method — no secret dashboard, no proprietary score.

One favourable answer proves nothing. What matters is the trend across the same question set over time.

Where we are honest: no client case studies yet

GetBizinGPT is a new service. We do not yet have paying client results we can publish. The Caribbean business examples on our homepage are demonstrations of the format, not deployments for those companies.

We could dress this up. Plenty of companies in this space publish invented numbers, or pass off a demo as a client win. We are not going to do that.

What we will do: as real customers come on board, we will publish dated before-and-after records with their permission — including the ones that are mixed or did not work. This page will fill up with real evidence, not marketing.

The problem with "case study" in this industry

AI answers change between runs, between phrasings and between users. A screenshot showing a business recommended is easy to manufacture and easy to mislead with — you simply ask the question until a favourable answer appears, then screenshot that one.

So judge any provider on four things:

If a provider will not show you all four, the "case study" is a screenshot, not evidence.

How we run a visibility test

  1. Assemble 20–30 questions that real customers in your category actually ask — by category, by need, by budget, by location.
  2. Phrase them the way a customer would, naming your town and service, not your industry vocabulary.
  3. Run each question on a recorded date and note four things: were you named, were you cited, were you described correctly, and which competitors appeared.
  4. Save the exact wording of each question, so the test is repeatable rather than impressionistic.
  5. Do the work. Rewrite the profile, correct the listings, align the sources.
  6. Re-run the identical set after a reasonable interval and compare, question by question.

What you receive is that record: the questions, the dates, what changed and what did not.

What a record looks like

This is the format. The business below is an illustration of the format, not a client.

Illustrative record — format only

QuestionBeforeAfter
"recommend a car rental in St. Maarten"Not named — 4 competitors namedNamed, 3rd of 5
"cheapest car rental near the cruise port"Not namedNot named — price not published at source
"car rental open on Sunday in Philipsburg"Not namedNamed, with correct Sunday hours
"car rental that allows one-way drop off"Named, wrong — service discontinuedNamed, correctly described

Note the second row. A "before and after" that only showed rows one and three would look like a clean win. Showing the row that did not move is what makes the rest credible.

What we track over time

We do not report a single composite "visibility score." Scores hide the thing you actually care about, which is whether the answers are right and whether you are in them.

What this method cannot tell you. It cannot tell you how often ChatGPT recommends you across all users, locations and phrasings — nobody can, including OpenAI. It is a sample, taken on a date, from one account. It shows direction, not a precise rate.

Any provider quoting you an exact percentage is inventing it.

We will run the questions in your category, show you exactly what ChatGPT says today, and give you the before-record — whether or not you hire us.

Common questions

Do you have client case studies?

Not yet. GetBizinGPT is a new service and we do not have paying client results we can publish. The examples on our homepage are demonstrations of the before-and-after format, not client deployments. We will publish real, dated results with client permission as they become available — including any that are mixed or unsuccessful.

How do you measure whether ChatGPT recommends a business?

We assemble 20 to 30 questions real customers ask in the business category, name the town and service the way a customer would, run each question on a recorded date, and note whether the business is named, whether its page is cited, and which competitors appear. The same question set is re-run later so change can be compared rather than assumed.

Why does one good ChatGPT answer not prove anything?

Because answers vary between runs, phrasings and accounts. A single favourable answer is a data point, not evidence of sustained visibility. What matters is the trend across the same question set over several dates.
